Movie Summary
Step mum is a movie about a divorced couple trying to cope with the reality of moving on and raising kids away from the standard family setting. It addresses the challenges of family break-up, normalization process by both the children and the parents, coupled with the emotional ties of love, family, and disease. The protagonists Jackie, Luke (the divorce coupled), Isabel (Luke’s fiancée), Anna and Ben (Jackie and Luke’s children) are involved in a complicated relationship that allows them to experience the complexities of interpersonal relationships.
