The job salary needs to be progressive, it should give room for personal development, ensure long-term employability with well-assured job security and providing room for my career advancement.
Basing on my personal preferences, the job in Huntsman Company is the best option. The compensation is competitive and comparable to other similar firms in the market. There is, therefore, a high chance of a yearly progressive compensation depending on the market trend. It offers an excellent opportunity for growth in its various global branches. Apart from offering company–required training programs, it also grants opportunities to participate in multiple environmental, Health and Safety initiatives that are set forth by the company. The benefits package is considerably massive compared to the federal job. It includes medical, vision and dental insurance, basic life insurance covers and AD &D insurance benefits for self and family with an additional $ 401,000. The non-financial package is also friendly. There is an opportunity for an on-duty off that makes the job more flexible and favorable.
I hold some experience in First aid and safety operations. I am also well informed about the Federal and State Safety and Health. I can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. However, there are requirements that I do not meet. I do not have a 5-year experience in an Industrial Site Fire Water System, and I lack A Fire Brigade certificate. To mitigate this, I plan to develop my skills and capabilities in nontraditional ways by consultation with the experts which would be the easiest ways to discover the basics of the skills I lack. I will also focus on my communication skills that which will be effective in revealing the impact I can cause on the organization’s results. I will emphasize on my strengths and individual skills like the ability to deliver quick responses to disaster and emergency, time management, teamwork, and my ability to train. This will depict how well I can be of help to the development of the company’s goals and objectives.
