The Aviation Week article highlights some of the comforts and benefits that came with the COVID-19 pandemic. After the health crisis, airlines experienced a decline in passenger travels, thus a decrease in revenue (Pozzi, 2021, p. 18). However, some idle aircrafts found comfort in converting to cargo supplies especially medical equipment. Therefore, the MRO providers received numerous maintenance operations to convert passenger to cargo planes. Similarly, the Essentials of management describes the basis of scheduled maintenance of facilities in the aviation industry (Coulby et al., 2015, p. 342). The book authors claim that maintenance occurs over the planned and scheduled period unless in the unanticipated collapse of a significant item.
Substantial evolution continues in the aviation industry, particularly in the MRO and PTF segments; therefore, I will focus on the cargo section after joining the aviation industry. I will improve the cargo transportation and develop maintenance facilities to provide scheduled service to the aircraft. Focusing on MRO and PFO, two fields that are expected to grow, will help become a valuable asset in the aviation industry. This will help me make the difference that I have always wanted to make in the aviation industry.

The conversions of the planes started before the arrival of the Corona Virus. I think the current trend in aviation will lead to increased growth in PTF and MRO segments in the future. Airline companies will migrate to cargo transportation in the next few years due to the decline in passenger capacity. Pozzi (2021) argues that the aviation industry will experience this growth in the next few two years before it drops slightly. The evolution in the aviation and digital market will influence the maintenance and modification of aircraft due to the increased PTF conversion. Ultimately, the change will improve the future maintenance companies and innovate more airplanes that can adapt to the trending change in the digital market.
