Part A: Corporate Policies Reflecting Organization’s Culture and Ethical Viewpoints 

Various policies exist that reflect the cultural and ethical viewpoints of TechFite. The initial policy would entail fostering fairness within the place of work through ensuring equality in the diverse tasks that employees pursue within the organization. The policy should target making sure that all organizational employees receive workplace benefits rather than just offering senior executives bonuses. The corporate policy in this case would align with the organizational culture and ethical standards that guide TechFite. The second policy that the company should pursue should entail making sure that the employees receive better pay while at the same time raising working hours to provide the workforce with the opportunity for attaining full-time employment, which serves as the case in TechFite’s branch in the United Kingdom (Jennings, 2016) . The third policy should focus on promoting CSR (corporate social responsibility) initiatives to allow the company gain positive reputation within the community, such as investing in events, improving local infrastructure, and addressing other challenges that the community faces (Hodges & Steinholtz, 2018) . Focusing on these polices would play an essential role in allowing TechFite to grow its operations within the U.S. in line with rhyming with its organizational culture and ethical standards.

A1. Rationale behind Policies and Alignment with Organizational Culture 

The adoption of the policies by TechFite would align with the organizational culture that the company follows. For instance, by adopting the fairness policy in the workplace, the organization would manage to establish good relationships with its labor force in the work environment. Fairness would make sure that all employees within the company including the ones at the bottom and the ones at the top receive benefits, which would ensure that their motivation to work remains high. Additionally, offering better pay while at the same time making sure that employees work full-time would allow the employees to establish a sense of belonging, thereby allowing them to feel that the company values them, hence increase their productivity (Ferrera, Alexander, Darrow, Wiggins, & Kirschner, 2014) . On the area of corporate social responsibility, the policy would ensure that the Delberg community benefits via development of infrastructure and enhancement of other community social aspects, which would rhyme with the organization’s culture.

A2 Distinguishing between Ethical and Legal Issues 

Distinctions prevail between ethical and legal issues that organizations encounter. One of the key differences emanates from the law and ethics areas. For example, the law is responsible for controlling the activities that people undertake, such as the things that they should or should not do whereas ethics illustrate the moral principles that govern the acts of persons. The government plays the role of governing legal issues whereas individual, legal, and professional norms govern ethics. Individuals or organizations should not violate the law while those that infringe it face punishment, including imprisonment or imposition or fines (Ferrera, Alexander, Darrow, Wiggins, & Kirschner, 2014) . By contrast, individuals do not face punishment due to failure to adhere to moral ethics

A3 Analyzing Ethical Issues at Stake 

In the case of the TechFite situation, the ethical issues in question comprise of conflict of interest in that the team within the organization understands the need for involving the community in its operations although it ends up failing to fulfil the commitment of assuring overall concern to the challenges that the community experiences. An additional ethical issue that prevails in TechFite’s situation results from misusing the resources of the organization when the team within the company choses to minimize the number of working hours among the labor force, which fails to follow the firm’s policies. The issue also serves as a legal one because it fails to adhere to labor laws while at the same time acting in manner that denies employees from receiving benefits. The bias that the leaders portray also depicts an ethical issue, such as when the management of the company does not treat the United States workforce in the same manner as those employees working in the United Kingdom (Fitch, 2013) . In this vein, the U.S. employees embark on whistleblowing measures via complaining concerning issues related to benefits, poor wages, as well as reduced weekly working hours.

An ethics officer refers to an employee within an organization whose role entails making sure that the firm undertakes its operations in a means that supports ethical business practices. For example, TechFite’s ethics officer should emphasize on establishing a policy that minimizes employment violations among the workforce in line with safeguarding the organization’s financial resources. Achieving this requires ensuring that the organization employs several workers on a permanent basis whereas the remaining workforces wait until the condition of the organization improves (Hodges & Steinholtz, 2018) . Additionally, the ethics officer needs to make sure that the management of the organization fulfils the promises made to the city council of Dellberg.

Part B: Corporate Social Responsibility and Applicability to Scenario 

B.1 Ethical Desirability of Improving Company’s Reputation 

Corporate social responsibility entails a condition in which an organization performs its duties in an environmentally, economically, and socially ideal manner. An organization needs to ensure that it adopts a CSR policy to allow it to grow its standing among its diverse stakeholders, such as the community and employees since these allow a company to continue growing and realize successes in its operations. A firm does this by establishing corporate goals that target addressing the welfare needs of all stakeholders. In the event of TechFite, it has not managed to grow its Corporate Social Responsibility in various ways. Firstly, it has failed in its endeavors of rebuilding the Dellberg city via developing infrastructure despite promising the city council of the area. Secondly, the organization has failed when it comes to sponsoring events within the community (Ferrera, Alexander, Darrow, Wiggins, & Kirschner, 2014) . Thirdly, TechFite has failed on matters related to promoting fairness in the workplace particularly when it comes to matters related to employee benefits and wages, as such, the company’s reputation in the viewpoint of employees and the community is poor.

B.2 Social, Ethical, and Environmental Course of Action 

To address the issues faced in B1, TechFite should consider setting aside a segment of the revenue that it generates to support the community by sponsoring events and programs and building appropriate infrastructure. If the firm lacks sufficient finances for sponsoring huge projects simultaneously, it can consider supporting smaller projects in phases to allow it to win community trust by dealing with the pressing issues in the society (Fitch, 2013) . Furthermore, the company should emphasize on promoting fairness in the workplace via harmonizing work benefits hence making sure that all the workforces can access the benefits that the workplace offers rather than just offering benefits to senior executives within the company.

B.3 Social, Economic, and Environmental Responsibility of B.2’s Course of Action 

The course of action from Part B2 is socially and economically responsible particularly because the organization emphasizes on sponsoring projects within the community as well as rebuilding the city by developing infrastructure. Additionally, by rebuilding the Dellberg city, TechFite considers environmental sustainability to ensure that the entire community benefits. Moreover, focusing on the welfare of the workforce via enforcing fairness in the workplace, such as through employee benefits is economically and socially responsible while it aligns the labor force with the culture of the company (Jennings, 2016) . The reason for this is that the workforce will have the capacity of realizing better pay, which will improve their social wellbeing.
