There is a potential ethical conflict on the case vignette. The moral issue is that of confidentiality. Angela is not sure whether she is supposed to report the problem to the Adult Protection services or not. In the nursing practice, the health care provided is considered to keep any information about the patient confidential (National Association of Social Workers, 2017). If Angel discloses the information to the Adult protection Service, it will violate the confidentiality code of conduct. The issue arises from the fact that it is a practice of the culture of Mr Harrak. Also, the victim has not complained that he is against the way. Instead, she agrees with his wife about the traditional treatment module as he also believes it can be useful in managing his health condition.
There are two central competing values in the vignette, including religion and belief. The faith is evident from the fact that a health care agency is serving Mr Harrak. His wife performs a wet-capping procedure on him intending to make her husband feel better. It is a cultural practice that is being dictated by their Islamic religion. On the other hand, the two are equally active in seeking modern medication. That gives rise to the second value of belief. Since Mr Harrak and his wife visited a hospital to seek treatment, they bothered in modern medicines. Thus, there is a combination of the two values. The focus is to make Mr Harrak feel better though a medical treatment and traditional interventions.

The complex clinical issue arises from the inability to connect with the culture of the patient. It represents a situation where the health care provider is in a dilemma between two options. For instance, Angel’s position is an example of complex ethical issues. She can report the matter to the Adult Protection Services, but it will violate confidentiality ethical consideration. On the other hand, she can consider integrating the belief of the patient into the treatment modules. The moral code of conduct stipulates the need to learn the culture of a patient, especially religion, to improve patient output (National Association of Social Workers, 2017). Thus, what Angel needs to do first is to understand the religious practice.
Potential ethical conflicts are different as they represent the possible outcomes of clinical actions. For instance, if Angela decided to report the Adult Protection service issue, there is an ethical conflict that will arise. Mr Harrak can claim that it is a violation of his privacy, and he equally has the right to practice his religion. Angel can quickly lose her job if such an ethical conflict arises. Also, asking for assistance from the nursing supervisor is a good strategy, but she should not disclose the patient details. If she tells the supervisor, she will violate the ethical code of conduct dealing with patient information confidentiality.
The organization can also suffer significant loses if there is a violation of the code of conduct. The patient will lose trust in service provision from the patient. Since Angel is a member of the organization, there will be an issue with its jurisdiction. The organization will be liable for the consequences of Angel reviling information to the third party. It is not illegal to practice once religion. It would have been a case to be reported is the husband was not in agreement with the religious practices done to him by his wife. But since she agrees there is no one to be held liable, their religion teaches them. They have the freedom of worship and practice their religious activities.
