In the majority of countries, there are bodies and rules to ensure citizens and employees are treated equally regardless of their gender, age, national origin, disability, race, and sexual orientation. Globalization, the industrial revolution, and technological advancements have enhanced multiculturalism in our communities and organizations. Instances of perceived discrimination, EEOC violations, gender inequality, and civil rights abuses have influenced organizations' formation to ensure that individuals who violate such rules face legal action. However, some bodies, organizations, and departments that are supposed to embrace multiculturalism and equality at the workplace and in society have been accused of violation of such laws. For instance, reports indicate that there are high discrimination cases based on gender, race, nationality, age, sexual orientation, and disability in the United State Department of Justice. The department is obliged to ensure public safety by preventing crime, terrorism, and domestic and foreign threats, although the majority has questioned its operations. According to the United States Events of 2019 in the world report, start inequalities in dominant in the country, with the law becoming more aggressive on the poor who are often the minority communities. United States department of justice commonly criminalizes poor neighborhoods, fueling a high incarceration rate in the country (“United States events of 2019”, 2020). This allegation justifies that the state does not embrace cultural diversity in regard to wealth; hence the poor are likely to be considered criminals. Psychological reports show that the poor face various challenges, such as homelessness, gang involvement, and mental health issues. However, this does not imply that all the poor communities are criminals, but there is a likelihood of some people being involved. Regarding this, reports indicate that the poor are treated discriminatively when compared to prominent people, illustrating inequality in the United States Department of Justice. Moreover, racial discrimination is evident in the United States Department of Justice, with black Americans being commonly abused. According to the Word report on the United States events in 2019, police had killed seven hundred and seventy-three people in a shooting in Washington, and twenty percent were Non-Native Americans, blacks (“United States events of 2019”, 2020). This report demonstrates racial disparities in the country, considering that only thirteen percent of the population is black. Data indicate that racial differences are evident where the police use force on blacks with research suggesting that they also experience a high number of arrests. For instance, in Oklahoma, Blacks regularly report abusive policing cases justifying racial disparities in enhancing human rights in the United States. The United States' policies are geared towards helping minority groups against discrimination and helping the poor through social programs. The United States government has set policies to aid families that can uneasily meet their basic needs to ensure equal opportunity and freedom to all ( Hinton, 2016 ). Regarding this, the United States Department of Justice, as law enforcers, should ensure the poor benefit from social welfare programs. In this respect, the department should provide that individuals that take advantage of the poor face legal action to promote equal opportunity and freedom for all. However, this has not been the case since the police who are part of the department treats the poor discriminatively. Therefore, the policies set to protect the poor to ensure they have access to equal opportunities and freedom is violated by the United States Department of Justice. Moreover, the mission statement of the United State Department of Justice states that it should seek punishment for unlawful behavior while ensuring fair justice for all Americans. However, this has not been the case. The primary duty of the United States Department of Justice is to ensure that individuals are protected from unlawful ( Kagan, 2019 ). Concerning this, the department should protect all Americans regardless of their color, race, and gender. However, the rules and laws relating to this protection have been dismissed since the minority, especially the Blacks, suffer in the hands of the department. In this respect, the police are part of the department, but they are accused of playing a significant role in discriminating against individuals depending on race and color. Therefore, the rules and policies relating to the protection of all Americans have been violated in the United Sates Department of Justice. The majority countries have developed employment law and discrimination law in an attempt to resolve ethical dilemmas at work. Discrimination law plays a significant role in ensuring gender equality and embracing multiculturalism in workplaces ( Kundu, & Mor, 2017 ). In this respect, businesses, organizations, and companies are forced to comply with the discrimination law and individuals who defy face legal action. The majority states have formed rules that ensure that individuals are treated equally irrespective of their culture and gender. For instance, such rules state that all employees should not belong to a particular religion or gender but should include various cultural groups with all gender considered.

Summary and Conclusion

The United States Department of Justice is among the organizations and departments that do not embrace multiculturalism in communities. The accusations can be justified with a report indicating that the poor are treated discriminatively, and the Blacks are the most incarcerated. Majority of states have set employment and discrimination laws to ensure that multiculturalism and gender equality ethical dilemmas are solved at the workplace. All companies, organizations, and businesses comply with the rules and set policies in compliance with the guidelines to avoid facing legal action.
