Evangelizing the lost is one of the Christian’s task in life that is God-given and ordained for every believer. Even after Jesus commanded, it has been so hard for the church to respond to the lost world with the gospel message of Christ (Chevney, Nerger, & Ramsey, 2015) . The understanding of these methods makes reaching out to souls for Christ possible and effective.
Four Spiritual Laws
Summary
The four spiritual laws is a succinct and all-encompassing evangelistic elucidation having four parts, which was formed by Bill Bright. The first part is for the individual to understand that God loves him or her (John 3:16). Secondly, man must acknowledge his sinful nature and that he is separated from God (Romans 3:23 & Isaiah 59:1, 2) (Heath, 2017). Thirdly, Christ has been provided by God as the solution to man’s problem of sin (Romans 5:8). Lastly, man must individually respond to the gospel of Christ and receive Jesus as the savior and lord of his life (Romans 10:9, 10)

Advantages
The four spiritual laws makes the discussion with an individual to be in a more simple and systematic manner. One can discuss the points with someone within a short time. The method depends wholly on the scripture to speak for itself (Heath, 2017). The listener has the chance to read, pray and meditate on these scripture verses afterward.
Disadvantage s
The first most individuals engaged in a pseudo-Christian cult may not take the verses seriously, as they are already aware of them. In addition, the four spiritual laws only affect individuals who have some foundation of faith (Yeith, 2015). They believe in the existence of God, bible as God has inspired word, inherent sin and Christ as the only savior from sin.
Servant Evangelism
Summary
It is an evangelistic method demonstrated by Jesus (John 13:1-20). One combines simple gestures of kindness and deliberately sharing the gospel to others. Christ becomes the ultimate example and the soul winner exhibits natural and humble attitude of letting others be first (Chevney, Nerger, & Ramsey, 2015) . It is effective especially in this era where it becomes strange for someone to disregard himself for the sake of others. It is putting love into practice.
Advantages
The methods gives one a chance to share the gospel. Yeith (2015) suggest that this the easiest manner to share the gospel is to a perfect model for it. Like Paul, Christians should be confident to tell others to follow them as they follow Christ. Anyone who practice this method experience a renewed mind and life, which may lead to more witnessing chances.
Disadvantages
It could take some time for one to affect another life sufficiently with this method as far as their salvation is concerned. In fact, one need to be around someone for a long time. In addition, it requires a sense of discernment (Chevney, Nerger, & Ramsey, 2015) . Someone may want to take advantage of this time and has his needs met because the other is sacrificing for him. Therefore, the soul winner has to be careful and steadfast to continue witnessing.
Confrontational Evangelism: Evangelism Explosion
Summary
Evangelism explosion began in 1962 being spearheaded by Dr. James Kennedy. He intended to nurture individuals to share their faith as win the lost to Christ. The peculiar thing about this system of evangelism is massively evangelize by winning the lost to Christ and then disciple them to do the same and be able to lead many to Christ (Heath, 2017). It relies on multiplication of souls as more are trained to evangelize.
Advantages
The method has a great impact on the attempts of Christians to win the lost through exponential growth strategy. There are many number of people reached and preached to within a short time. The method also incorporates the training of those who believe to share their faith, an aspect of discipleship (Chevney, Nerger, & Ramsey, 2015) . The disciple walks with the soul winner and supervises him as he witnesses to nonbelievers.
Disadvantage
One setback to this method is that one may not have sufficient time or resources to facilitate the training of many disciples.
Application of These Methods to My Own Life
Personally, the method that applies to me in a special way is evangelism explosion method. There are a number of grounds for this choice. The first ground is that the method is focused on multiplication of souls. There are many advantages of getting personal with individuals. As far as evangelism is concerned, reaching multitudes is a concern. There are so many regions in the world that has not been reached, and until more disciples are raised to join the vineyard, they will never hear the gospel.
The method is oriented towards building the soul winners. This is a chance to get personal with the saved individual but the motivation is to inspire and instruct him to do the same. Jesus Christ becomes the perfect for this as he grounded the entire Christianity on discipleship. He made 12 disciples, although one was lost to his greed became so instrumental for the spread of Christianity to the whole world. Soul winners should discipline others and reach masses for Christ by the help of the Holy Spirit.
This method is the best for me, as it will help me reach out the people who claim Christianity without true conversion and devotion to do God’s work. The method incorporates systematic teaching and training of believers to broadcast their faith. Therefore, the method becomes a platform to shine as light for the whole world to see the beauty of Jesus. According to my perception, Christians are admitted to the kingdom of God to simply serve Him, which must be embraced, from the beginning of this new life. Discipleship is critical in any method used in soul winning. The new souls are grounded in the knowledge of the world of God and enabled to practically apply the teachings under the through discipleship. The effectiveness of discipleship is apparently evident in the ministry of Jesus and some of His followers.
