Field experience prompts the notion of providing learning objectives. Aligning these objectives to the core competencies of all human service ensured that I identified future career goals. My learning objectives were as follows: to use and understand ways of implementing evidence-based curriculum for caregivers also known as ‘nurturing parents'; and to learn and comprehend the use of core concepts and implementation of Nuerosequential Modality of Therapeutics (NMT). This paper aims to review these objectives, their accomplishment potential, what they made me learn if they helped me establish my future career plans, how I would implement the feedback to enhance my skills. Lastly, how If i was able to bring closure of the field experience with my supervisor.

To begin with, my first learning objective which was to use and understand the implementation of evidence-based curriculum for caregivers, addressed several core competencies of human services. Participant empowerment, training, self-development, organizational participation, education, facilitation of services and documentation were the lead addressed core competencies on this objective. For this objective, the documentation and implementation of individual curricula were through the supervision and discussions concerning the application of those curricula. The fact that this program gets continuously implemented through training of the employees makes the agency one of the 11 globally working agency towards the Flagship status with Neurosequential Modalities.

The intervention activities began on 26th September 2018 and will end on 1st November 2018. Through the documentation of individual curricula, supervision and discussions concerning the implementation of those curricula and the program continuous training activities that got undertaken ensured that I acquired appropriate knowledge and skills. I learned that I enjoyed group participation, community service and networking, knowledge sharing and learning and assessments. All these attributes enlightened me to seeing how I want to pursue this line of career by using the feedback given during the reviews to improve my career skills. Information sharing ensured participant empowerment and knowledge concerning curriculum for caregivers for children of Neurosequential Modality of Therapeutics.

The second objective was focused on learning a well as understanding the use of core concepts and the implementation of Neurosequential Modality of Therapeutics (NMT). Through the training rendered to us concerning reviews of implementation activities within the curriculum, I got to learn and also understand the way to implement the evidence-based practice for children of Neurosequential Modality of Therapeutics. I was able to learn that. Recent studies propose that there is a rise in the number of children exhibiting characteristics of Neurosequential Modality (Barfield et al., 2012). Such features are impulsiveness and aggression against other disruptive behaviours and they are attributed to unconducive socio-emotional development. It made me realize that children act irritably sometimes due to the lack of social supports, parental substance abuse or even poverty.

Implementation of this program required the facilities of IT to ensure the agency worked towards the Flagship Status with Neurosequential Modalities. The beginning of the implementation of Neurosequential Modalities Therapeutics practice began in the agency on 2nd November 2018 and will end on 1st of January 2019. During the core concept training, we got to review the implementation activities from the curriculum which allowed me to learn better and understand these core concepts. Similar to the first objective learning these core concepts rendered me the realization that there is more to the facilitation of human services. Choosing this career aligns me well to education, change management, community service, self-development and organizational participation skills.

Therefore, aiding me to quench my thirst of pursuing this career and improving my core skills and competencies in the implementation of the practice for children of Neurosequential Modality of Therapeutics. Sharing the field experience closure with my supervisor was among the top experiences I encountered. I invited my supervisor to attend one of the core concept training and also review implementation activities. The presence of my supervisor during these discussions ensured the closure of my field experience was seen. Due to the field experience, I was able to have a better scope of implementation activities, core competencies of human service. All these provisioned better career goals in dealing with people and facilitating service.
