Server manager is utilized in the addition of a new role onto the Windows server 2012. To start , there is the need to click onto the server manager, then followed by the menu on the manager. After which, one needs to select the option to add roles and features. The selection of the installation type would incorporate the option on the feature-based or role-based installation ( Stanek, 2014) . The next step involves the selection of the server to be installed. The feature windows would then pop up to allow the person to make the needed changes then one would click next for the final confirmation screen to appear where the person would then automatically restart the destination server . The management and monitoring of the server installation are always carried to help in the keeping track of the unwatched servers. The process id often achieved through the application of events, alerts and the data collection procedures that would be significant in the underlying factors in a much-organized way ( Stanek, 2012) .
