Question Three
Also, making a FAE was not pleasing and in some instances I hurt other people’s feelings. Most judgments were made without understanding the cause of the mistake and behavior and thus misjudged many people. The misinterpretation resulted to me hurting my friends’ feelings and they assumed that I did not care about what they are going through.
Question Four
Avoiding making the FAE on day two was adaptive since I did not make judgment on a person without analyzing their situation factors. Not making the FAE was effective since there was adequate use of limited cognitive resources. The time taken to understand others situations and characteristic factors was not a lot as compared to the time that will be taken to reconcile with the person hurt.
Question Five
Avoiding making FAE was worth the effort since I did not hurt other people’s feelings. Before coming up with a conclusion about others, I had to take time and understand the reason of their behaviors and actions. The action required my attention from other important tasks but was still worth the effort since I made my friends feel better.
Question Six
In conclusion, I believe that all situations should not have an FAE made especially on emergency cases. An individual may make FAE in cases where one continues making mistakes after being advised against the errors.
