The assigned chapters are intriguing and equally important. Almost all paragraphs contain crucial information. Nonetheless, I was particularly carried away by a paragraph in chapter 7 on the part named “God’s Election of Israel With His Eye on The Nations” (Winter, 1981). The paragraph reads, “ God’s election of Abraham and Israel concerns the whole world. This is so because he is maintaining a personal claim”. (Winter, 1981) This extract indicates that God is watching over his people and he will always be by our side. More particularly, the chapter concentrates on assuring the people of the world that what we cannot do is capable of doing and he will always give users the power. On the part named “Yahweh, the Redeemer of Israel” the theory of soteriology is discussed. Here, God’s objective to rescues the universe. It’s expressed that God expressed his love and kept his word by freeing Israel from the bonds of slavery.
I have had bad days. There were days when I was hopeless and waited on his miracles to no avail. This made me question why the Lord would watch over his servant suffers. I almost lost hope but I always had the strength to wake up and hope again. At this time I almost lost my faith. However, if I were to go back in time, I would be more hopeful and trustworthy of the lord. This is because he has indicated that he is always watching over the world and he is always ready to liberate his people from whatever problem they are going through.

As such, I would want to go to missions to schools and preach to the youth. This would help give them hope and equip them with essential skills of how to manage critical situations. Therefore, the message that the lord is always watching on us and will always liberate us is crucial to all living beings.
