Good, evil and bad are metaphorical terms used to express people`s feelings on morality. They are used to find a balance in the actions of people in the universe. Good, evil and bad are always changing and may vary from one society to another and from one period to another. Having that in mind, individuals need to know that what they think may be good bad or evil may not necessarily be true to a given society or group of people. One important thing is that evil is considered to be on the extreme compared to bad. The bad is common in a community but generally unacceptable. On the other hand, crime is uncommon and unacceptable within the community.
Ethics guide the good, bad and evil in the society. Good, bad and evil act as the unwritten principles guiding people in their daily activities. It is true that a community that is unethical allows the strong to prey on the weak. Ethics allows the weak to adequately express themselves and exert some resistance force from the strong who would otherwise take advantage of them. People`s perception of ethics determines their morals. A moral person is considered as an individual who does good and keeps away from bad and evil acts. Staying away from evil and bad deeds is not easy. It requires a lot of efforts and commitment from an individual and guidance from people around the individual. Nietzsche perception of ethics as something that opposes nature may be said to be correct to a large extent. Ethics do not allow nature to take its course and shapes people`s acts in the society. With no ethics, the community would be filled with chaos as the strong try to take advantage of the weak.
