It is crucial to comprehend the history of American politics to draw Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign to perspective regarding its significance. American politics entails a broad platform reflecting the ideals of its founding fathers and policy-based competition. It is noteworthy that the United States covers an extensive area that shows reverences to the constitution acting as a guide for every sector. The culmination of the presidential campaign saw Hillary Clinton lose to Trump despite victory in the popular vote by approximately 3 million votes.

It presents a transformation in the U.S. personality trait regarding viewing women as capable of running for the highest office in the land.

It is undeniable that policies affect individuals across board irrespective of gender. The sad reality involving men dominating women in almost every platform contributes to gagging of ideals raised by females in many circumstances. It is an issue that led to specific women fearing to come out and speak out with cases such as rape or domestic violence as mentionable examples. The campaign ran by Hillary Clinton displayed a zealous lady pushing forward her ideologies on how to impact change. As mentioned earlier, some of the ideals she championed include improvement of healthcare and equality, among others.
