Home renovation is an instrumental project that the project managers have to plan carefully to achieve success in the project. Proper project management ensures that there are values attached to the project, and the outcome meets the needs of the beneficiaries. The selected project management metrics for house renovation includes the actual cost of the project, customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction cost.
The selected project management metrics and the choices help in meeting the needs of the employees handling the project as well as customers who are beneficiary of the project. Furthermore, the metrics ensure that the project is conducted within the provided budget timelines, completed within the right time and resources allocated are used appropriately to complete the project (Burga, LeBlanc & Rezania, 2019). My choices, therefore, serve the purpose of effective communication to project team members, involving the project beneficiaries in decision making and ens8ure appropriate allocation of resources towards project completion.

The units of measure that I will use include the project cost to complete the renovation. Employee and customer satisfaction is also another unit of measurement that will be used. When the employees and consumers are happy in the project, I will interact with project management professionals and assess the cost-benefit analysis of the units of measurements (Chen, Fu, Liu, Xu, Zhou & Liu, 2019). Through discussing the cost-benefit research, there will be an ease of selecting which units are success-based, project-based or financial-based. Furthermore, creating a project management checklist is vital in this assessment process. The list will include three columns, that is the unit of measurement, the expected outcome as well as rationale, and the third section will be conclusion aspect. If the unit of measure handles finances in the project, then it will be concluded to be a project-based unit of measurement. These are guiding principles that help project managers to make effective decisions in the projects that will generate success during the project handling.
