Paul and Vincent Donavan wanted to bring the world together through Jesus Christ’s teachings. This was possible through Donovan’s ministry of hope, reconciliation as well as liberation with an intention of reviving the church. Donavan spread the word of God all over the world including to the black people. By doing this he was able to break all the cultural barriers that were set earlier i.e the white people were superior to the black people even to religion matters (Platten, 2010).Then again, Paul continued to spread the gospel of harmony by laying emphasis on adherence of Christ’s teaching by Christians. This is because it was the only way the Christians would see God’s kingdom.
St. Paul emphasized that just like the way Christ bore pain of everyone on the cross, Christians are supposed to have the ability to bear pain. When they do so they represent Jesus Christ here on earth knowing it is not a simple task. However, they should do it with hope of being restored and living happily in God’s kingdom. What was common between the two on bringing hope to the world is that they preached to everyone regardless of their race or who they were.

Some of the ways that hope can be brought to the world today include equipping and encouraging each other to live a life of disciple-making. Moreover, hope can be brought by encouraging each other to study as well as understand the word of God because it has all the solutions to all the helpless situations and mysteries. Also, praying for each other is another way people can bring hope and faith in the world because many are the times people become less hopeful whenever they lose contact with the almighty (Platten, 2010).
