Plastic materials are non-biodegradable - this means that living organisms do not have the ability to break them down when they are ingested. Ingestion of the plastic cup by the turtle makes the animal choke and causes a high probability of death. From the picture, we note that the number of plastic material and other non-biodegradables is overwhelming.
