The type of economy that bests suits the General Motors is the market economy that is characterized by less government control. The company could have a capitalist kind of market economy that is marked by a massive economy that is well controlled by the government. enterpriseOne of the potential effects of the economy system in the society in which the General Motors is that it is likely to lead to the growth of the finances of the company since the company is located in a capitalist economy (Townsend, & Calantone, 2014). On the contrary, the Toyota Motors Corporation often could have a mixed economy that is characterized by a blend of both the command and the market economy. The blend of the two economies has allowed the Toyota company to treat all its workers in a fair manner. One of the most significant reasons as to why some of the countries tend to lag in their economic development includes the lack of foreign and local investments that could be useful in job provision that is likely to boost a raise in the GDP. An increased number of jobs is likely to increase the economy of a country. Importantly, the only way in which a country can raise its economy is by increasing the manufacturing industries in the area that would probably increase the amounts of jobs in a state. One of the ways in which a country can increase its economy includes the expanding of the international companies in the less developed areas to increase a number of jobs in such areas. Secondly, the companies could ensure that the unemployed people in the company could volunteer to work part-time in the firm at a smaller fee as compared to the regular workers. As a result, this will lead to an increase in the number of wages allowing people to be experienced and have skills to get employments elsewhere hence leading to an increase in the GDP of a country. Lastly, the General Motors, Toyota Company, and the Ford Corporation could get involved with other charitable organizations to help reach out to the poverty-stricken people in their respective societies. Such a move could contribute to reducing the poverty gaps thus resulting in an increase in the economy.
If I had an opportunity to become a global leader of any of the three companies, I would prefer leading the Ford Motors Corporation. My opinion is because the company desires to bring about change in the automobiles industry since they are ambitious and focused on the achievement of the desired goal. Some of the steps that I would require to undertake to be a global leader is to further my education and knowledge on my respective fields of interest. Education is critical to becoming a world leader. Bargaining and language skills would be another step that I would take to be an effective world leader. One of the global changes that I would make as a global leader would be expanding the company ever to place in the world to make a change in the world economy system. Besides that, I would increase the technology used in the company to make work easier for every customer and employee. In addition to that, technology would help in the creation of goods that are beneficial to a consumer.
