Culture is a very huge determinant when it comes to the act of human creative expression. An artifact will make an image to reflect what they are experiencing or have undergone. Culture is the yardstick that shows the extent to which human creative actions can or cannot go beyond.

In the contemporary world, the pop culture which is highly influenced by the advancing technology dictates what an artefact produces. The creative works have been adjusted to fit this technological environment. For instance, music has become a powerful tool in human expression where it has been used widely in advertisements and to depict other seemingly important issues such as money.

The main value of human creative expression culture is that it brings individuals to a deeper level of self-discovery and understanding. Moreover, it is the aspect that leads most individuals to be at par with what is happening in their environment. In a culture where everything is automated, human creative expression such as production of smartphones has become a source of entertainment and convenience. Currently, people are able to connect on a personal level by a click of a button.

The creative expressions can impact both negatively or positively to issues we deal with nowadays. For instance, the use of overly sexualized music and videos in today’s advertisement has continued to deteriorate current morals. A well-crafted video is, conversely, a beautiful tool to pass along fundamental information especially when used in social platforms. When utilized well, creative expression can be the prime equipment to fight undesired actions such as corruption.

There is a great connection between human expression and ethical values. Through creative works, an artefact will either support or demystify certain ethical values. In a drama, for instance, ethics guide what scenes can be exposed or not. To a large extent, ethical values determine what human expresses.

Overall, human creative expression is greatly affected by the culture, and in the contemporary world where technology is the major factor, most artefacts are forced to adhere to this. The main value of creative expressions is that it creates a path for self-discovery and individuals are able to recognize changes in the surroundings and adjust to them. Generally, creative expression has a positive or negative impacts in the culture and, thus, the consequences depends on what creative expressions are encouraged by both morals and laws in a society.
