The research question in which one will discuss is, ‘How does globalization affect national security?’ Globalization is used to describe integrations related to political, economic, and social factors. People, businesses, and countries have benefited a lot from globalization; however, the trading mechanism has subjected countries to ethical misconduct associated with their national security. The paper will discuss contemporary terrorism and its lethality and diffusion of suicidal attacks due to globalization.
The contemporary form of terrorism has become a principal challenge affecting integration security as a result of globalization. Before 1990, most terror issues were perpetrated by domestic terrorists ( Baker & Carson, 2020) . However, the development of globalization led to a blurred distinction between international and domestic security. Globalization led to the development of terrorist organizations capable of acting globally, recruiting and supporting countries in perpetuating wars and drawing funds for extremist purposes. Examples of lethal attacks experienced due to globalization are the bombing of Madrid in 2004, Bali attacks in 2002 and 2005, and the suicide bombing in London in 2005 ( Sadrijaj, 2018) . The attacks resulted in international concerns regarding the motivation behind mass killings and the acquisition of weapons used in corpus destruction.

Globalization has also contributed to the rise and diffusion of suicide attacks. The insecurity mechanism increased dramatically in recent years. In the 1980s, suicide attacks and groups executing them were few; however, in the second half of the 1990s, the cases of ethical challenge slightly increased ( Sadrijaj, 2018) . In 2001, the suicide attacks experienced worldwide were 54, but by 2007, it had risen to 535 ( Baker & Carson, 2020) . The suicide techniques also spread rapidly among various groups, such as ISIS, within the same period. Notably, al-Qaeda and other jihadist groups' suicide techniques were distinct from those utilized by past terrorists.
In conclusion, one argues that regardless of strides made by globalization in the improvement of trade and some security elements such as political stability among different countries, cases of well-planned terror attacks have increased.
