Simply Brilliant: How Great Organizations Do Ordinary Things in Extraordinary Ways 

According to William Taylor, most successful companies champ the most persuasive concepts and perform their activities in the most extra-ordinary ways that other organizations cannot do ( Taylor, 2016, 2) . In chapter one, William Taylor talked about competition and noted that organizations can make choices to help them achieve their goals, but they cannot choose to compete. Chapter two explains the reasons why missionaries out do mercenaries: William Taylor pointed out that passion, in most instances, beat drive ( Taylor, 2016, 24) . In chapter three, William Taylor explains that pride becomes the most significant barrier to many organizations' success in most instances ( Taylor, 2016, 32) . Chapter four of the book talks about interesting matters and how exciting matters are mandatory for an organization's success. The chapter challenges companies by asking the last time the management did an extraordinary thing for the first time to achieve organizational activities.
