Nations across the globe have immigrants who have come into the country with different motives. Even if immigrants assimilate faster in some nations, as compared to others, immigration policy remains a contentious issue in many nations across the world. In most instances, the debate revolves around cultural issues, as well as the economic impacts. The economic effects are usually considered with leniency because immigration leads to the inflow of cheap labor and talent. As a result, most immigration debates revolve around the resultant repulsion because of cultures. Immigration has affected my life and the community in different ways, including diversity, embracing a global community, as well as talent and experience.

Immigration enables diversity where people from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds meet and interact. In the United States, there are people from all cultural backgrounds (Keirns et al., 2018). Immigration allows people to interact on a large scale. Additionally, it has enabled people in the community to learn about a wide variety of cultures, which has helped them to embrace cultural diversity.

Immigration has enabled people to embrace the culture of the global community. Through the interaction with different cultures, people can appreciate that everyone is unique and that they all have differences. Additionally, people learn different languages, which enables them to learn that everyone is different and that they have their unique personalities. From this point of view, immigration has played a vital role in ensuring that people can appreciate each other regardless of their cultural and racial backgrounds.

Furthermore, immigration has enabled people to understand and embrace diversity in talent and experience. As people interact more, a matter of knowledge sharing happens. People share ideas across a board of vast disparities in terms of race and culture. Immigration has played a crucial role in informing the people that cultural diversity is a strength.
