There are more than 600 million active users on Facebook and more than 300 million people spend at least one hour a day on the site. Twitter has approximately 200 million active people. This research done by George (2010) showed that huge volumes of people across the globe speak of the massive reach of social media. Through social media, a company can interact with its customers from all over the world by a single post or tweet. Companies can now advertise to billions of people at the lowest price possible (Harvard Business Review , 2010) .
