The drastic change and development in technology have helped the aviation industry improve data transmission. According to the book, technology has improved safety, maintenance and reduced environmental impacts (Coulby et al., 2015, p. 276). Besides, the implementation of the communication systems will automate the aviation industry and reduce the human intervention needed in aircraft management. Similarly, the article has highlighted how automation and artificial intelligence has influenced air traffic control. Systems such as AAM calls stated in Aviation Week aim at making communication between aircraft and control rooms easier and efficient to avoid collision between aircraft (Atkins, 2021, p. 10). Similarly, the book outlines a similar system, ADS-B, which uses satellite systems to determine an aircraft's position.

The article provides essential information about technology being applied in the aviation industry. Understanding the recent technology in the aviation industry will help improve my efficiency as a worker. There is no denying that technology makes things easier. Understanding technology applied in the aviation industry will help become effective in communication and aviation management. Besides, new technology in the aviation industry promotes safety. Therefore, understanding the new technology will help me promote safety. For example, understanding AAM technology will help me coordinate communication between aircraft and control rooms, making it easier to avoid collisions.

Over the last few decades, technology has drastically improved in the aviation industry. I believe that technology will shape the aviation industry in the future. Therefore, I expect technology in the aviation industry to increase in the future. I think that the future of the aviation industry will be based on robotics, artificial intelligence, big data, new aircraft designs, virtual reality, and cybersecurity. These technologies will facilitate the development of advanced and complex systems to improve security in the aviation industry. Besides, these technologies will help improve efficiency in the industry. Increased efficiency will help airline companies become more profitable.
