If women and men are to work amicably in the workplace that has a majority of male workers, then they need to know how the members of the opposite sex perceive behaviors of the opposite sex. As such, an organization can offer training to their employees and managers to increase their understanding of the elements of sexual harassment, and discourage such behaviors from arising in their workplace. Consequently, a company can also introduce written policies and guidelines on what constitutes workplace behaviors. An organization with mostly male employees should create a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment and also make the policy and the company’s commitment visible. Therefore, this should be done by establishing clear public statements that sexual harassment will not be tolerated in the company regardless of employee’s ranks or status.

The organization should also propagate a culture that will not accept sexual harassment or discrimination in any form, as well as, aspects of covert sexism. Additionally, the organization must also accelerate equality in representation of women at all levels including the board of directors, and this will make it possible for women to be respected in the workplace. Subsequently, organizations can also ensure that they set up guidelines to help employees to understand the appropriate rules for human interaction and affection in the workplace. This is to make sure that employees understand what’s acceptable and what is not in order to prevent sexual harassment.
