Take on the issue: I oppose the use of animals in carrying out medical research.

1 Introduction

Reports indicate that, over 25 million animals are used in the united states alone, to carry out tests for commercial and scientific purposes. Researchers use them to establish medical treatments, test safety of goods for human consumption, health care and biomedical use among others. Although animals have been used since ancient times to carry out medical research, the practice is immoral, cruel, and unethical and need to be replaced with humane alternative methods.

II Researchers can explore alternative methods instead of harming animals (Hayelom, 2017)

Studying cells in a petri dish
