Take on the issue: I oppose the use of animals in carrying out medical research.
1 Introduction
Reports indicate that, over 25 million animals are used in the united states alone, to carry out tests for commercial and scientific purposes. Researchers use them to establish medical treatments, test safety of goods for human consumption, health care and biomedical use among others. Although animals have been used since ancient times to carry out medical research, the practice is immoral, cruel, and unethical and need to be replaced with humane alternative methods.
II Researchers can explore alternative methods instead of harming animals (Hayelom, 2017)
Studying cells in a petri dish
Micro-dosing
Microfluid chips
Artificial human skin
Computer models
III Animals are not effective in predicting results in human beings (Hayelom, 2017)
Most tests pass in animals and fail in humans
Low predictivity
IV Animal testing is inhumane, immoral, unethical, and cruel (Hayelom, 2017)
Animals used are forced to feed, denied food, restricted to move, and inflicted with wounds and burns
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Animals are subjected to dangerous chemicals
They suffer pain while experiments are done on them
