Chapter 10 talks about beyond duty while chapter 11 is on the mission with God. The information from the above-listed chapters is educative and important in guiding one's life. There are numerous lessons from the two chapters. I learned that the world is full of a lot of bad information but the lord will always bring good news. The gospel begins with "I bring you good news of joy. This is an indication that the Lord, is omnipotent and can change situations.

The mission is based on messages of hope and revival to the followers. Nevertheless, the followers are also affected by natural catastrophes, complex humanitarian disasters, exploitation, and oppression among other injustices (Winter, 1981). Other times, followers are persecuted for their faith, all these efforts are aimed at making the followers lose interest in the mission and abandon it. However, of this sad news of problems we think are unsolvable, the Lord always reminds us that we will be witnesses of hope and not harm (Winter, 1981). As such, as a Christian, I need to receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken by anything.

In chapter 11, God says he is on a mission to reveal himself. In so doing he invites all of us to worship him. He indicates that he will always reveal his work through his people. This message is aimed to bring hope to the followers to continue with the mission without being deterred by any obstacle (Winter, 1981). Moreover, the Lord indicates that he is at work always making an effort to reconcile the people and make sure the mission is fulfilled. In (Isaiah 55:8) the bible outlines that God's way of doing things are intrinsically different from those of human beings. This is because, when on themselves, humans only achieve their goals their efficiency but when God is in command, one achieves the goals with Kingdom principles (Winter, 1981). As such, our ways are not good. Therefore, we should follow God’s ways so that he can reveal himself in what we do.
