In current world market, workforces are moving to more remote area which involves moving workers to other regions, either within the same country or other countries. The major reason of migrating in remote areas could be to expand growth of their organization or companies. Thus, managing people remotely, you need to have good communication skills. Good communication involves, how often you communicate with a remote employee and the means of passing information. The manager should develop trust on their workforce. As a result, there will confidence and strong working relations within the organization. Also, accountability plays a critical role for the managers in demonstrating leadership skills in managing the workforce.
According to Hoefling (2012) there are several ways of including employees in the team of management within the remote areas. Firstly, the manager should schedule a regular visit to the work site and monitor the progress of employees followed by giving feedback. Secondly, practice of delegation by promoting remote employees as company representatives in the local conferences and industry events. However, managing workforce within two or more countries, employees can be motivated by incentives such as salary increase and better working conditions.

On the other side, providing the remote employee's access to secure network should be a matter of concern to the management of multinational companies (Lund, et al. 2012). In this case, setting a secured network requires having in place an efficient and effective IT department with the company. The channel of information used should be selective to reduce cases of cyber hacking. On the files and date protection, company communication devices should be protected from viruses and other malware which may corrupt the data. In the case of employees coming from network infiltrating countries, they are required to change their password more often and make them long to make it harder to guess (Podsiadlowski, et al. 2013). They should delete the email and avoid responding from unknown sources as they are used to track their credentials. Similarly, install a firewall on their device to forbid infiltrating threats.
