Preparation
Planning is the initial step when designing the Access control system. It will ensure that the resources are allocated properly . Planning will also ensure that the system can effectively manage the institution’s data
A site survey will be conducted before commencing the propjet. The purpose of the site survey will be to determine the inherent weaknesses of the site and the likely effects it might have on the project. the survey will also help in determining the appropriate sites for installing the Access Control System.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Estimating the cost of the project.
2. Building of an Access Control System
Equipment installation on all sites.
Testing of the functionality of the control system. The testing process should involve a random access to the system at different times of the day.
3. Configuration
The Access Control System Software should be installed once all the equipment has been put in place. It should be able to incorporate all the details of the students and synchronize it with the respective dormitories.
4. Implementation
The implementation of the Access Control system will be based upon the results of successful testing. The following tests should be put into consideration:
Soft deployment test. The purpose of this test will be to ensure that the software used is able to meet the minimum user requirements. If the software is not able to meet these objectives, it should be redesigned again.
Full deployment. The test is used to assess the increase in efficiency of the system. Students are issued with identity cards and allowed to use it for a specified period of time. The results of this tests are collected and then analyzed to determine the improvement in efficiency.
