The ethical dilemma presented by Flower Power Incorporation's new technological advent for its operations across the various branches is information access and breach of personal privacy. Every employee of Flower Power is entitled to their privacy and access to personal information is not supposed to be made available to every other person in the company. However, this technological advent by the company will allow MIS access to personal employee emails, access to personal internet sites and such activities. By crossing these boundaries and invading in an employee's space, the company will be crossing the limits that had otherwise previously existed. This is a dilemma because on the one hand there is the need to protect employee privacy and rights to privacy within the company, but on the other side, there lies the issue of transparency and employee productivity. The latter can only be established through monitoring an employee's activities within the organization. However, by acting along these organizational boundaries, personal spaces of employees are overstepped.

The various stakeholders affected by these technological changes would include on the front line the executive management that is the board of directors. The CEO, for instance, will be affected by this move since they have the mandate of protecting the rights and freedom of their employees, just as much as they are tasked with the mandate of overseeing the company's productions to ensure all the activities engaged therein are to the uttermost benefit of the investors. By having an obligation to both sides, the board is torn between balancing these two sides. The other stakeholders affected by this move are the workers. They are mainly inconvenienced through the invasion of their personal space. Every employee demands a right to privacy and personal space. Monitoring systems are not supposed to engage many direct activities of employees; hence, the company's new policies will be violating this right and freedom.
