Planning phase
Goal setting program for my merchandise promotion team. It consists of six member aged twenty to twenty three years. These are college students learning more about product merchandise and marketing. (1. And 2.) This program is scheduled to run for a period of six months as from June to December 2017 before the drafting of the final report on their performance is undertaken. (3.).
Individual outcome goals.
Process
Goals: the merchandisers will plan their selling and marketing strategies on a daily basis leaving a report behind before leaving for field work.

At the end of the day. Each should submit a report and final analysis of the goods they had sold.
Performance goals: by dong this merchandisers are able to establish the market trends and evaluate their own performance individually.
Outcome goals: the merchandiser will improve their ability to convince the market of their good and also, improve their confidence in just as well as expand their minds to the real world marketing strategies also enhance their communication skills and public relations ability.
Team outcome goals.
Process goals: the team is supposed to work together throughout the whole period and coordinate their own operations.
Performance goals: the team able to develop teamwork and work efficiently and effectively without supervision.
Outcome goals: the tea will have acquired various market skills. They will have also sold the require merchandise and reached their set target. This keeps the organizational head of the competitors.
The team members being new to each other it is important to help them develop teamwork skills that would help them in future, it also sets to prove their communication skills and build self-confidence by interacting with different people.
Goal setting development phase.
The first two months of the period will be set aside to help enlighten the member’s on their specific duties, help the set personal goals that are to be attainable within the set duration.
The teams to give an analysis of the goal they have accomplished by the end of the week and how they plan to be able to achieve their remaining goals within the set timeline.
An individual record of each team member’s performance will be documented and their personal evaluation will be compared to that of the team leader evaluation of their progress.
Implementation and evaluation phase.
The merchandising of the goods will start immediately after the first session of goal setting with each individual and with the team members as a team. This will be the second week of July 2017.
An evaluation of the member’s performance will be carried out after every month. This will act as a pace setter to both team members to motivate them to achieve the set goals. There will be a comparison between what the teammates say about each other, team leader’s evaluation and a persona report on each member as a means of motivating them to be the best they can be through self-drive. This will give a general view of an individual’s progress and is set as a means of testing the dedication of the team members toward their own achievements. Implementation of the set goals will also show the members’ dedication to one another and the organization at large. In the event that the set goals are implemented, they will act as a motivation and drive toward the set target.
