A lesson plan is a comprehensive description of learning trajectory and course instruction for a lesson. It is mandatory for teachers to prepare a lesson plan every day as it will guide them on what they are supposed to teach. Also, it would enable the student to be aware of what they are expected to learn at the end of that lesson. In most cases, the lesson plan would depend on the type of topic that needs to be taught on that day. As such, they tend to vary depending on the interest of the teacher as well as the teaching skills. A well develops lesson plan should focus on the interest and the needs of the students. My lesson plan for this assignment is for kindergarten students on science.
The title of the lesson:
It is important for the teacher as well as the student to have a good title according to the topic. Since it is a kindergarten school, the teacher should be creative to come up with an attractive topic. This would aid the student to know what they are supposed to learn on that day.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Read out loud the topic for the students
Tell the kindergarten students to repeat that topic aloud
Show the students some types of science material
The time required to complete the lesson:
Teachers should time themselves on what they would have achieved before that lesson elapses. In most cases, the period is every short, and without proper planning, they would have wasted their time on non-essential discussion. It is also crucial for the teacher to inform the students regarding how the time of that lesson would be sued before even starting the lesson.
Tell the students to remember the time the lesson starts
Set an alarm to remind us of every objectives
List of objectives:
In this part, the objectives should guide the student of what is expected of them after the end of the lesson. The teacher should also have an objective on the areas that he/she needs to cover in that period. It is advisable to set achievable objectives. In this case, the topic that relates to science should be well analyzed.
Read out loud the objectives for the students
Tell the students to repeat all the objectives aloud
Give out some sheets containing information that needs to be covered
Hand the students similar topics relating to that discussion
Materials to be used:
Since it is a kindergarten school, it would be proper for the teacher to have some materials that would be used in the experimental process. In most cases, such students tend to remember more some of the materials that were used in particular lesson. In that light, the teacher should only use materials which are easy to use by the students. The type of materials includes charts, maps, and small objectives depending on that lesson.
Ask the student to bring out their books
Give out pieces of paper containing science materials
Each student to identify the type of card that is handed to him or her
A summary of that lesson:
The teacher should be able to summarize all the information that he/she has taught that particular day. In that light, it would be helpful for the students to easily remember it. Also, the teacher must try to instruct some of the students to explain what they have learned that lesson as a way of summarizing for other students. One of the best ways of summarizing for the teacher is to have short notes about each subtopic that they have learned that lesson. The sub-topics should also be able to explain the objectives of that lesson.
read out the objectives and ensure that students analyze the ones that are covered
take back the sheet of papers that were given to students
try to ask the students some of the things that they have learned
Evaluation process:
In most cases, this is the final steps of a lesson plan, and it entails the teacher asking the students some of the questions to determine if they have understood. Through such questions, the teacher would be able to tell if the objectives of the lesson have been met or not. In this aspect, the kindergarten students should be able to answer questions relating to that science topic.
Ask questions relating to that topic
All the students must explain some basic information about the topic.
Give the student’s homework
