Additionally, various individuals loyal to the dictator have been killing civilians, discharging bombs, terrorizing towns, and assassinating leaders with the assistance of the dictator of the neighboring nation. Government Branches

To ensure that the country runs optimally, three key government branches will prevail in the nation. These will comprise of the legislative, executive, and the judicial branches. The legislative branch will be responsible for making the laws of the country. The executive branch will play the role of enforcing or instituting the country’s laws with the newly elected president serving as the head (History, 2018) . Concerning the judicial branch, it will ensure to institute and interpret the country’s laws, with the Supreme Court serving at the topmost level while the inferior courts will handle other legal matters in the country.

Public Good Domestic Programs

The two key public goods that the country will consider establishing first will comprise of the national defense and education. For national defense, it will play a critical role in hindering violent conflict as well as skirmishes that might result after the reconstruction. National defense will eradicate instability and conflict hence offering an avenue for development in the country. Offering security will facilitate in breaking the violence cycles in the country (Bakrania & Haider, 2016) . Additionally, the national security will be crucial in that it will help in preventing abuse of human rights.

Regarding education, it will be a crucial public good in that it will contribute toward making sure that the population of the country becomes better citizens. Education will allow the citizens to gain increased understanding of the socioeconomic situation in the nation and contribute toward its progress. Educated people will add to the wellbeing of the country since they will have gained awareness concerning the value of a stable country. Individuals lacking education lack ideas concerning these facts (Samuel, 2013) . Hence, education will serve as a valuable addition to the country’s wellbeing, especially on matters related to fostering economic growth.

Economic Structure

The economic structure that will apply effectively to the country is one of the mixed economic system. The system is a combination of command and market economic structures. With this kind of a system, strong regulatory oversight prevails while the government controls certain aspects, including public services and goods. Despite the system supporting private ownership of most industries, several public services and utilities remain under the control of the government. In this case, neither the government nor the private sector regulates the economy, but the two play a critical role in the system’s success (Zeder, 2017) . In this case, the two parties will work together to ensuring that the country emerges successful in its recovery efforts.

Citizens Socialization and National Unity

Socialization refers to the ways in which persons learn ways of belonging to a particular culture. Via socialization, individuals manage to understand the language of a certain culture, the role they play in life, and what the society expects from them. It is crucial in building the personality of a person while at the same time allowing the community members to develop similar norms, values, and beliefs (SociologyDiscussion, 2017) . With socialization, the new government will ensure that the people in the society work together in unity to reform their country and realize continued progress.

Foreign Concerns

Two International Organizations

The selected international organizations that the country will need to join will comprise of the IMF (economic purposes), and the United Nations (for security purposes). The IMF’s (International Monetary Fund) major role is to lend finances to nations under financial distress. The IMF will play an essential role when it comes to supporting the country financially to allow it to rebuild its infrastructure and offer the necessary public goods. The United Nations (UN) serves as a forum through which nations talk, make decisions, as well as take actions on ways in which to address matters related to climate change, war, and poverty (Economy, 2019) . For the UN, it will be responsible for supporting the country on the various security threats that it might face, especially from the surrounding nations and terrorists.

Joining the two nations entails several steps. For the IMF, the nation will need to apply to become a member of the organization. It will be required to contribute a particular amount of money, which will be based on its economic performance and wealth. The voting power of the nation will revolve around the money that it contributes to the institution. In joining the UN, the country will need to declare that it will follow the UN charter. It will do this by submitting an official letter to UN’s secretary general stipulating that it will abide to the Charter’s requirements (Economy, 2019) . The Security Council will then review the application for consideration.

Combatting Neighboring Country’s Terrorist Threat

To address the threats that terrorists from neighboring nations pose, the country will need to set aside an anti-terrorism police unit. It will also need to involve its air force, army, and navy to facilitate in combating the threat. The initiative will be effective since it will ensure that terrorists are unearthed form their hideouts and terminated. It will also be possible to destabilize such organizations for the security of the country. The other means that the country can use to deal with the terrorist threat is through joining the anti-money laundering groups of the surrounding nations (Wilson Center, 2018) . In doing so, it will be possible to address terrorist financing issues by ensuring terrorists lack funds to finance their operations.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the plan for the new government will be crucial to ensuring that the country operates in a stable manner. It puts into consideration the issues that are of domestic concern, including governing style, government branches, public good domestic programs, economic structure, and citizens’ socialization and national unity. It also addresses foreign concerns, including two key international organizations, one for security, and one for economics. It also proposes ways of dealing with the terrorist threat from surrounding countries. Focusing on these areas will ensure that the country manages to operate effectively and efficiently while boosting the overall welfare of its citizens.
