Recruitment is one of the major roles for Human Resource representatives. It involves several activities, including identifying gaps, advising on required number of recruits, attracting talent, and the hiring process. The department is also mandated to make sure that the recruits are up to task and can deliver as required. The paper discusses some of the recruitment role job description. 

Human Resource representative are mandated the responsibility to detect or identify gaps in an organization. This is an important task as the required individual should be working in those posts for the optimum functioning of the organization. Identifying these posts can be done through identifying persons who quit their positions which must be replaced for smooth running of the organization. The identification may also be identified by evaluating the human input required, and find out if the available team is enough.

After identifying the gaps that require hiring, the HR representatives plan on the hiring procedure. In most cases, the procedures start with advertising the post. Adverts specify the specific attributes the organization is looking for. Requirement of the recruits are also clearly stated, which is also the responsibility of the HR representative. Adverts are the followed by interview, which are scheduled by HR department, inviting and considering all the involved interviewers. Human resource representatives are also present during the interview. 

During recruitment, it is the work of HR to attract the suitable talents into the organization. The representatives are expected to come up with the best policies to hire the most talented professionals. Attracting the best talents is done through creating a good employer brand and creating the best image for the organization. A good image and reputations are portrayed by the organization through maintaining the best employer-employee relation, which is HR’s function. 

During the interview, HR representatives play a role in contribution of selecting the best candidate. After an employee is chosen, it is the role of the HR representatives to communicate the information to the persons. On arrival, the new employee is received by the HR department and oriented to the work place. They are also trained and acquitted with the patterns of that organization.
