Behavior related practices are some of the leading cause of death globally. They are mainly practices that people get involved and become an affiliated habit pattern, regardless of the health impact that the practice has on the human body a perfect example is eating habits (Kastenbaum, 2015). Eating is one of the fundamental practices that necessitate the actual existence of life; the human body requires a diverse nutrients base to be able to function promptly (Christakis, 2013). However, there is a standard requirement of food nutrients in the body, above which the food nutrients are accumulated into the storage tissues leading to increase in the general body weight. People are advised to adopt healthy eating habits that require an individual to take just the right amount of food that will reflect the standard quantity of nutrients needed by the body (Alston, 2017). People have formed it a habit of nonresponsive eating; this leads to serious weight gain, obesity, then wait for related complications such blood pressures, cardiovascular complication, heart failure, diabetic. It is not easy to retract once the complications are introduced to the body, the eventualities are death.

Another behavior that leads to death is smocking and excessive consumption alcohol. Both the behaviors have the resultant effect of destroying fundamental internal organs. Smocking cigarette affects both the user and the adjacent communities; the smoke affects the lungs, introducing complications such as breathing difficulties, bleeding lungs eventually leading to death (Christakis, 2013). Excessive consumption of alcohol as well affects the liver, the main role of the liver is to neutralize ingested toxic wastes when the organ is destroyed the ingested toxins affect the other organs leading to further complications and eventually death (King, 2014). Governments and nongovernmental health organizations have attempted to reduce the effect of behavioral patterns. The most effective are felt in the use of drug substances including alcohol and cigarette. Some of the directives include the compulsory study of the drugs and their effects in schools, huge tax embargo on the products to increase their prices such that they discourage consumers from purchasing them. in some countries, it is forbidden to smoke openly, and there introduced curfew to which people can smoke or drink (Holford, 2014). The efforts have considerably reduced the use and abuse of the substances.
