There is this big conflict between the Big Bang theory of scientists and Genesis of the Bible from religion. Big Bang is a theory that says the universe came into existence from a dense existence of atomic elements that expanded into the present-day universe. Genesis, on the other hand, illustrates that God created the universe in seven days.

What is compelling about it?

This argument has made all of us accept that the universe in one way or the other came into existence. We are forced to accept that it popped into existence from say nowhere. Scientists have put forward several theories that try to explain the pop-up, while religion has also said that the pop up is a creation by God.

Where does it fail?

Scientists fail to support their theories regarding what existed before the Big Bang. The only stand we can take is that we do not know what caused the Big Bang theory or what existed before it. It did not just come from nowhere. Scientists have instead compelled religion to take another interpretation of the scripture that would seem less ridiculous to their believers.

Does it use facts? Should it?

The Big Bang from scientists does not use facts that everyone can see. They use theories that are poorly supported. They still cannot say what happened before the Big Bang. They should try and use factual evidence to prove their theories. After all, they are just theories, that they will keep working on as religion presents God as their main proof.

What logical fallacies do you notice? How does it use logic to its advantage?

The Big Bang theory has some logical errors. We are not clearly told what caused the Big Bang theory. The bang of these masses just came from nowhere. However, the scientists explain logically how the hot masses condensed to form the universe we see today. We will, however, truly never know what happened before the Big Bang or what existed before these masses that came to form the universe.
