An employee is an essential tool in the healthcare sector. Currently, one major factor which has been a hindrance in health sector development in many countries in the world is inadequate healthcare professionals. This has led to poor quality of healthcare in some countries. For this reason, additional of fifty million enrollees in health care can have a positive impact in the healthcare sector.

Firstly, there will be a reduction in waiting time in hospitals. One of the greatest challenges facing healthcare today is a long waiting time in hospital, clinic and the outpatient department. One of the major contributors to this issue is the inadequate number of healthcare employees which makes the healthcare system very slow due to low patient- professional ratios. Additional of 50 million employees will automatically have a positive impact on this challenge (Ang et al., 2013).

Secondly, the healthcare professionally always faces challenges which lead to a lot of stress especially nurses. The impact of stress cannot be underestimated in a healthcare environment. Medical errors are reported each day in the clinics, hospitals and outpatient department, one major contributor to this factor is the frustration among the health professionals which come as a result of the large volume of work they have to handle. Additional of the enrollees will ensure that such kind of issues in hospital is a forgotten story.

Lastly, the addition of 50 million enrollees in the healthcare sector will make sure that the hospitals handle large number patients. One major issue in the health system is the imbalance number of patient staff ratio which continues to worsen off. This has led to crowding with patients not receiving better or quality healthcare since the nurses or doctors are always in a hurry to deal with the ever increasing line of the patient. Additional of enrollees will ensure that this challenge is forgotten.
