First, it is vital for people to appreciate that the Alabama SF approach has played a significant role in building family and community partnerships that have impacted the children's development positively. First, the state, under the SF program has outlined various protective factors utilized in the early childhood to prevent cases of child abuse. Additionally, Alabama has also implemented several strategies aimed at connecting home, school, and the community. Alabama has for instance collaborated with the Alabama Network of Family resources, a move aimed at creating a platform where the community can engage with the school in enhancing child development.
