Industrial-Organizational field is a diverse field having careers in many different areas. I would like to work in the business sector where I will focus on worker productivity and employee training. My vast experience as a trainer and recruiter ought to make me qualify for this type of job. The careers in industrial-organizational psychology are well paying especially if you’re holding a master’s degree and also have a high level of experience (Gould, 2018).
The most interest thing I learned about this field is that it involves both psychologists as well as human resource specialists. These are the two areas I would enjoy working, and I, therefore, see having a long career in this field. It would be awesome to work in this field as I would also be able to work as a consultant or work in private sectors.
