Imagine you can influence creativity in a workgroup for increasing employee morale or a community group working to encourage recycling. What creative principles would you apply to this group?
Creativity principles that can be useful in promoting morale among employees include the use of openness and sharing. When employees are open, they may develop a connection that enables them to create different and new ways of viewing things (Harris & Sherblom, 2018). Sharing of various perspectives may also encourage new thoughts. Gibb's communicative climate comparisons will also help employees and their management be on the same level for communication ( Zink, 2017) . Issues like status, talent, power, worth, and abilities will not prevent employees from communicating when using the comparisons.

What techniques would you use to foster creativity?
The use of idea needlers is one of the techniques that I would use in promoting creativity; it entails asking questions that enable the understanding of other ways of using various types of equipment. The use of manipulative verbs is another technique that entails altering verbs to make employees think differently (Harris & Sherblom, 2018). The use of metaphors and associations is another method that will be effective as it enables symbolic thinking to develop new perspectives. Involvement in analogy may also allow the group to broaden their thinking capacity, resulting in creativity.
How would you prevent common barriers to creativity? What would you do to ensure originality is encouraged in the group?
Prevention of creativity barriers includes the avoidance of paradigm when it comes to handling perceptual barriers. Common ways of thinking will always hinder new thinking habits. Prevention of cultural obstacles requires the use of creative abrasion (Harris & Sherblom, 2018). This technique entails people from different cultures with different values and skills in a task. Calling out for avoidance of perceptions is a move that will also enable me to think without emotional barriers. Encouraging creativity in the employees' group will require me to ask members to lose their minds, trigger unconsciousness, and simplify problems into meaning before researching how to solve them (Harris & Sherblom, 2018). Loosening the mind and starting unconsciousness are critical actions that help divert the mind from its recurrent thoughts.
