Grace remains one of the inherent characteristics of God; given the sinful nature of human beings. Despite the various social vices, as well as other bad deeds committed in the present-day society, God has never placed great emphasis on utilizing his wrath with the sole purpose of punishing a man (Powell, 2013). Instead, he prioritizes Grace to create and maintain the much-needed fellowship. God exercises this unmerited favor through a broad range of ways, including healing and providence and protection from destruction.

The very life of a person remains characterized by a variety of risks. While traveling by bus, for instance, people often survive life-threatening and fatal accidents. During and after such an incident, the individual survivors often attribute their escape to God’s divine protection. Additionally, with God’s grace, the sick, as well as the hungry would not survive their diseases and conditions and lack of food. In Mathew 6: 31, for example, Jesus Christ reminds mankind to stop worrying about what they will eat since God is their sole provider.

Moreover, Acts 10:38 states that Jesus went around doing good, including healing the sick. Were it not for God’s unmerited favor, each member of the already sinful and condemned intelligent creation would have faced extinction from hunger and sickness. Concisely, God‘s mercy remains infinitely greater when compared to sins, meaning he does not want any given soul to get the loss.

Implication for Salvation

The various ways through which God exercises grace in everyday life experiences implies that he serves as the all-wise planner, as well as the architect of salvation. In Romans 6: 23, God reminds people that his gift, grace, is eternal life only through Jesus Christ. In other words, God’s unmerited favor on man plays a central role in their regeneration and sanctification. According to Powell (), Ephesians 2:8 affirms this position by stating that people are saved through faith, a special gift of God, and not of themselves. With Titus 2:10 and other New Testament verses acknowledge God as the savior, God’s grace is a reminder to all generations that they should align their life with his teachings.
