The first thing that comes to my mind is that for once in a very long time, there would be no reason for people to kill one another over their religious differences which has been the norm especially in the last couple of years. Truthfully speaking, all religions that we have presently believe in a higher power than the people. They all believe that the world and all its creations must have come from somewhere even though they may not agree with the name, form, make, description, and whereabouts of this higher power. This paper discusses the possibility of a single religion for everyone and what the world would be with this one religion.

It is clear that religious war would be non-existent. This is because everyone believes in this one God who has created us all and given us the beautiful world to procreate and fill it. All human beings would view each other as equals and hence have no reason to harm each other over religious differences as it is currently. Additionally, with just one religion, people can live in this homogeneous environment where everyone shares the same laws, same views and a similar wisdom given by God. As a result of this unifying factor, people are able to live more happily without having to worry about what people from other religions think about them with their only goal being to impress God.

In a world with this one religion where the truth is what is written in the scriptures, people have no business questioning anything and living in religious doubts, in a constant struggle to find what the true religion is. This one religion makes the truth more meaningful to people. Everyone knows what is expected and what is not expected. No contradicting scriptures nor are there any other teachings apart from this one religion. Evidently, this makes life much easier for all human beings as it is twofold; you are either living the truth, or on the other side, which is not true and the standard is the same for everyone. We all know this is what God had taught us and as such, we have the duty to follow it in order to get to paradise and live a better life here on earth or choose not to follow his teachings and have a miserable life.

In this religion, everyone must attain salvation to be able to come closer to God. Everyone wants to be closer to what is good therefore, everyone in the world would seek to be saved and get delivered from all that is evil in order to get closer to God. Salvation for human beings entails being freed from any evil or sin that might have been committed earlier on in life. The effect of this is that with everyone getting saved, the world will have very few, or no wrongdoers. As such, the world will become a better place for everyone to live knowing that no one wishes you evil or is planning anything evil against you. Evidently, love becomes divine and everyone makes an effort to love each other in a way that God loves us.

A world with just one religion would be a more inclusive one for everyone. No one would feel left out for subscribing to a different religion as it is now. The effect of this is that all people would be united as they unite in praying together. This unity is largely because we all would have a common future that we are all working towards. As we all look forward for a common goal, we are inspired to work together which will bring everyone closer to each other and give us peace amongst ourselves.

The word of God would be our guidance instead of following laws created by man and justice would be divine. This word of God is simple; not to do anything that may harm other people, be good to everyone as God is to us, treat everyone as you would like to be treated, and finally obey these words and only pray for guidance from God. God provides and teaches goodness for his creation and in breach of this goodness, he has the right to punish or remove those that do not exercise is as per the scriptures. This is what divine justice means in this religion. No one wants to face God’s wrath here on earth therefore, everyone will seek salvation and follow these simple rules. If you would like to be treated right, it is only fair that you treat these other people the same way and when everyone treats the other well, the word becomes a better place.

The wisdom used by human beings in this world would all come from God, making it similar for everyone. With a single source of teachings and wisdom, everyone is able to follow pretty much what we know as the gospel truth and take faith in this truth. When governed by similar laws, there’s no excuse for committing anything that is contrary to what is taught. The similarity of it all creates a norm for everyone and therefore, from a very tender age, this is instilled in you from observing what other are doing. With time, all generations are doing the same things by following one similar faith. There’s no confusion in this religion as everything is straightforward from one teaching. No one can turn back and question any of the teachings since they do not know nor have they heard of anything contrary to this and so their sole purpose in life is to promote this same religion and teach it to others as the get into the world.

One religion also means good political atmosphere. Religion has a big impact on other factors of life like politics. The world would be governed by good leaders who conform to the same teachings and have to live by them. This means that they would have no excuse of not using the teachings provided by God and the wisdom instilled to them by God and deviate to other bad norms that would see the people divided. When the political environment is good, peace among the citizens prevails, they are able to work together with others from other countries towards a common goal.

In conclusion, a world with just this one religion would be amazing. Following similar laws, having one God who we all worship, being good to each other and treating one another as we would like to be treated is the best recipe for world peace and harmony. Everyone would strive to uphold this in order to make the world a better place for themselves and those that will come after them not only because they enjoy it but also because this is what God expects from every single one of us. The only downside of this type of homogeneity is that people would lack the ability to exercise our critical thoughts since everything is provided for by this religion meaning that human beings in this particular world cannot make good judgements.
