In research, integrity is essential because research projects are based on facts without which the findings become compromised and unreliable. It is also useful since it helps intellectuals recognize the efforts of other scholars in the field of research. In the essay below, the importance of interpreting findings correctly and the role of data will be analyzed since they are important traits that ensure the credibility of a research project is upheld.

Interpreting findings involves testing the reliability of theoretical data and assessing the credibility of a phenomenon. It also entails observing the patterns and trends within a particular set of data and establishing their correlations to arrive at an accurate conclusion. Interpreting findings is essential because it determines the relationships between specific sets of data and helps in understanding how each of them can be used in the research ("Advantages and Disadvantages of Qualitative Research", 2018) . This aids in determining the relevant data to rely upon. Interpreting findings also assists in giving direction to a project and it assists in knowing what crucial information was missed during the data collection.

Examining and understanding data are critical since research is based on the ability to collect and interpret data accurately. Therefore, the examination and understanding of the intrinsic meaning of data is important because it equips a researcher with the awareness about how the set of data behaves during the research and if such behavior can influence the output. Secondly, it also helps in understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the data set and this is critical in establishing the relevance of the data in question.

During a study, one may be tempted go beyond the scope of data for purposes of more findings. However, this may be detrimental to the research because it consumes time that could have been used in other ways that are helpful to the projects. Overstretching the scope of data exposes the research to poor data quality since findings beyond the scope of research may be irrelevant and they still affect the final result (Henderson, 2016) . Thirdly, a lot of data causes complexities to the project, and this leads to difficulties in managing the data which may lead to poor quality findings.
