Use of the internet can prove to have a good opportunity, especially in the budget saving, especially for the human resource departments. They will no longer need to add more recruits that meet and greet and accept recruits anymore. However, if the HR department has not equipped itself with the necessary competence with the internet, they can lose out a lot especially for the well-trained and valuable person that can work well in the line of work. A loss of a worthy candidate might cost the organization that will bring in additional cost down the line ( Dessler, 2016)

Opportunities and problems for applicants in using the Internet to facilitate the staffing process

The candidate has an advantage of getting to apply to as many organizations as possible at the comfort of their houses. They might present the resumes in very many organizations and still do not spend a lot in the process such as printing out the documents so that they can be taken to the organization and save a lot of time. The internet contains a large pool of people who are diversified in many ways. Therefore, being the suitable candidate might be very problematic since everyone has the same talents and with better qualifications more than the employee applying. Due to a large number of the people applying for the job the internet could be problematic since the organization might choose the best and with the most affordable price in salary ( Roth, O'Daly, Fenton, Dowd, Cassidy, Allen, ... & Klassen, 2017)
