The interscholastic athletic facility that I visited was Chicago Bulls stadium which is located in the city of Chicago. The facility is known for hosting almost 20,000 people due to its size. People from different parts of the country usually assembly in that facility to watch their favorite game which is basketball. Based on the reports from the management, the facility is estimated to be 67,000 sq. Foots. It was established in 1999, and it was transformed from being football soccer. The construction was commission by the mayor of the city in which it was attended by thousands of people around the country. Chicago Bulls are open to the most popular team in the country for many years. The management of the facility has put various measures as a way of controlling the crowd. One of the measures is that has various gates in which is open to the public. In such a way, In case of an emergency, the people could easily vacate the place. The reports indicated that some gates that the facility should have so that people could move in out without major difficulties. It was indicated that those were security measures to protect the people. For the past decades, many people had lost their lives due to stumpage. Another way of crowd controlling that was evident in the facility is the ventilation. Their huge spaces all over the facility that allowed the free movement of air. Such measures were to ensure that people had an adequate amount of air within the facility. Another crowd control measure was the use of signs that showed the direction that the people from a certain side were to follow. It was evident that since it had a lot of people, some of them were likely to get lost on the way.
Regarding security, the facility had a lot of personnel who measured that the place was safe. In such a place, not every person who came to watch the game have good intentions. In the past years, there were cases in which terrorist had taken advantage of such stadiums in which they had harmed a lot of people. Another security measure that the facility has is the installation of water sprinkles. Such measures are to put off a fire in that there is break out. The sprinklers are automatic in which any case of a fire, it will turn itself on. Another security measure that has been put forward is the electric fence. It was indicated that some people might sneak into the stadium and steal some of the properties. With the use of the electric fence, it guarantees the safety of the facility as well as the people. Also, another aspect that was evident was the use of dogs to try and sniff any material such as bombs that might be placed within the facility. Such dogs have been very beneficial regarding retrieving such material that could have led to the deaths of many lives. The use of the of CCTV cameras was another type of security measure that was introduced (Broder, 2012). The cameras are used to record live events on what is happening within the facility. That is why when they are any incidence, the information from those cameras could be retrieved. Also, the information could be used in the court in case there are any disputes.

Regarding risk management, the managers explain that the employees have been trained on proper ways of evacuating the people in case of an emergency. Since the facility can accommodate more than 20,000 people, it is important for the management to have adequate number facility (Goshim, 2012). Another risk management that has been established is the training the people in the on how to behave while they are in the facility. In that light, it makes it easy for the people to evacuate the stadium in case of an emergency (Strang, 2011). Also, there are several escalators around the facility to ease the movement of people regarding evacuating. Also, there are many personalities that are placed in strategic places that help the people regarding evacuating.
One of the recommended ways in which the venue could be improved is by using modern technology to guide the people. It is certain that by using human personal to show the people directly, it might take a much longer time. In that light, the management should employ modern technology in all areas of the facility. It will improve customer care services.
