Social life is deemed important since human are social animals, but the level and ability to socialize is different. Some of the people are great and enthusiastic about socializing hence tend to spend most of their time around people whereas others have poor socialization habits, for instance, they are shy or lack the confidence to socialize. Different theories and personality tests tend to portray that there are many differences between the two types of socializing personality described above as the former social birds known as being extrovert whereas the latter are regarded as introverts.
According to Briggs, introverts are characterized by being thought oriented, seek depth of knowledge and influence, prefer more substantial interaction and get energy from spending most of their time alone. Extroverts, on the other hand, are characterized as people who are action-oriented, seek breadth of knowledge and influence, prefer frequent interaction and spend most of their time with people (Diplateevo.com, 2013). Those characteristics have tried to portray the polar opposite of the two socializing personalities leading to stereotyping that the introverts are antisocial whereas the extrovert is social. The theories claim that an individual can only be either of the two but not in the middle. These conclusions lead to different depiction to illustrate the differences, but I tend to believe that introverts and extroverts are similar in several ways as this essay portrays.

Similarities between Introverts and Extroverts
In most of the stereotyping assumptions of introverts being a bad trait, it is better to understand that they have benefits that can be used to boost their interpersonal concerns effectively. The extrovert tries to advice the people with poor interpersonal skills to change their personalities to become better people, but that is a negative action since some of the characteristics of introverts, for instance, seeking depth of knowledge and influence make them more knowledgeable and if they improve their interpersonal skills they can share much-needed information. Just as people in the social media tend to be on and off, they portray that everyone needs some time alone as being over extrovert can be tiresome (Ponari, Trojano, Grossi, & Conson, 2013). Another similarity is that the level of socializing is different thus the theories are wrong to claim that one cannot be in the middle of the two.
Ambivert is a new term used to regard or describe people who seem to balance the two extreme traits of introverts and extrovert. The new term shows that there is no better group as earlier thought that extroverts were better than introverts (Social Introvert.com, 2016). In a research undertaken by Grant on the people demonstrating the extreme of the two different social personalities, their wealth was relatively equal portraying that there was no impact on one’s social skills and success. People who were able to balance the two extreme personalities were relatively more successful thus portraying that the two personalities of social life have a middle point that is achieved by knowing when to socialize and when to spend their time alone (Science of People, 2016). The ambiverts gain from using their interpersonal skills if they are extroverts to boost their social life but know when to socialize and when to seek knowledge by using the breadth and depth of the knowledge and influence to gain better personality skills and decision-making. This can be negatively influenced by poor having the extreme extrovert traits (Hosford, 2016). An introvert person may spend learn to use his intelligence to boost his interpersonal skills and decrease the time he spends alone by involving others in their lives. The ambiverts description portray that all traits are important but their extremes have negative impacts on the lives thus diminishing the believe that one is better over the other.
Conclusion
The findings by Grant portray the necessity to stop stereotyping introverts and gain more of their traits to limit the extreme nature of extroverts’ traits since we need them to become successful thus the differences can work to improve our optimum personality skills. It is clear that both extremes have a negative influence in life hence need to have both and become ambiverts.
