The treatment of Japanese American citizens during World War II angered me. I thought that the government was overreacting, and such citizens were of no threat to the nation. It is therefore appalling to see that the same government that was to protect the Japanese Americans from threats and danger was part and parcel of making their lives miserable. It may not target a specific ethnicity like the Japanese Americans' case in World War II, but the possibility of it happening is high.
