Integration of Information with Other Knowledge

The assignment has enabled me to appreciate history explicitly focusing on the evolution of man. It has also built on my knowledge especially regarding the culture and economic life of humans. Through it, I have debunked myths surrounding the evolution with essential facts about the early human life.

Application of the Assignment

I know understand that evolution is a continuous process. Many million years from now, humans will probably have a different appearance courtesy of the environmental and genetic changes.

Evaluation of the Reading

The most interesting part of the reading is that it provides a detailed account of early human history using vivid examples. It has questions for analysis that play a significant role in brainstorming regarding the subject matter. However, I find its discussion of early human migration to different continents questionable because it seems unfeasible and illogic considering the distance.

Definition of Terms and Concepts

The terms such as “megafauna” and “hominids” gave me a difficult time to understand. However, I found out that megafauna meant huge animals with hominids representing humans.
