Ann Fudge demonstrates several characteristics of leadership based on the five factor model that include openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism (Gurven et al., 2013). Ann scores so much on openness to experience, for instance, she is inquisitive, broad-minded, ready to learn new things like yoga, travels widely, and surrounds herself with people from different gender, social status, ages, cultures, and races. She writes a book and works to improve her creativity in the organization by exploring various strategies.

Ms. Fudge agrees with everyone she interacts with because of her diplomatic, warm, charming, and approachable personality. Further, her ability to communicate across all levels makes her agree with workers in the organization. Ann demonstrates conscientiousness through her organization, having serious approach to commitments, being creative and ability to think outside the box (Leutner et al., 2105). She shows her extraversion through self-confidence, being comfortable with everyone, and being decisive and outgoing. Ann demonstrates her neuroticism by being optimistic, calm and works hard to improve Young & Rubicam (Y&R).

People can benefit from a sabbatical since it allows them to unwind, explore and set new short and long-term goals, discover new hobbies, and slowdown from a fast-moving lifestyle. Conversely, a sabbatical can make one to be out of touch with their professional calling. Further, one may not be in touch with colleagues and even the usual workplace environment.
