Literature review articles are articles that offer descriptive synopses and assessments of the theories or findings within a literature base. Creating quality literature reviews require the author to capture trends in the literature from the results in the initial research (American Psychological Association, 2019). To create quality literature reviews, the author needs to define and clarify the problem while summarizing previous investigations. This helps to inform the reader on what the research entails (American Psychological Association, 2019). The author should also identify the relations, gaps, contradictions and inconsistencies that exist in the literature to suggest the next steps in solving the problem.
I have written a literature review before as part of an assignment. While writing it, I had to define the topic and the audience while searching and re-searching the literature (Pautasso, 2013). Since the topic was wide and information was readily available, I had to sort out which parts I would incorporate in the paper; thus, I had to take notes. The entire experience was interesting as I learnt how to find quality sources of information to use in my assignments. Conclusions or results sections are present in all research and student papers. In my paper, I will start the paragraph by restating the research question that I was focusing on. Next, I will give a summary of the aims to ensure the reader is aware of what the research was keen on bringing to light. I will then summarize the findings of the research and talk of the future directions of the research. These will ensure that the readers of the research know why the research is important (Sacred Heart University, n.d). When they read up on the key summarized points of the paper, they will have a take-home message on what the research paper was on.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
