Heading 1: Key Components of My Code of Ethics
I believe that I am a person who can make difficult decisions that might not be popular, but they are the correct one. I feel that people should be equitable towards one another. Respect for one another is a quality that I highly hold. Doing what is right always, although it does not make everyone happy at all times is an element that every person should possess.
The following are the key elements of my code of ethics
Integrity: the aim is being straightforward, truthful, and honest and confidentiality in all the relationships.

Respect: the quality of a person expressing a positive feeling or action towards a person.
Justice and fairness: the capacity of being fair or equity to others
Nonmaleficence, which means that I do not have any intention to cause harm to other people.
Honor: human quality of knowing and doing what is morally right.
Doing Right: the ability to do what is morally acceptable.
Heading 2: Bible Principals That Influenced the Process of Developing My Code of Ethics
From the biblical teaching and stories that influenced the process of developing the code of ethics. Principles of characters from the Bible motivated me to base the code of ethics from the Bible. The fact that the principles from the Bible made moral, just and upright characters, it would be wise to emulate such policies. From the various policies, the consequences of these principles were positive behaviors that resulted in a happy and enjoyable life.
From the Bible, one of the best principle learned is love. Romans 13: says that a person who is possessed by desire does not work ant ill to his neighbors. Therefore, love taught me how to do what is right toward all the creation. Love is not easy or convenient, but with respect, we can treat others in a just way. The principle of doing what is right also influenced the process of developing my code of ethics. The principle of doing what is right is emphasized in the Bible. For example, the major themes of the Bible are to find out what God needs of us and obey Him. God in the ten commandments requires us to love God and fellow human. The story of Joseph in the Old Testament indicate how doing the right thing is not easy, but its consequences are positive (Genesis 37 through 50, The New King James Version). The Bible teaches about conflict management through living with others peacefully (Romans12: 18, 19, The New King James Version). One golden rule that Jesus taught us to treat others the same we would want to be treated (Mathew 7:12, The New King James Version) In Mathew 18, the Bible provides a classic passage on managing conflict. The principle of submitting to authority from the Bible influenced my process of creating a code of ethics. In Romans 13: 1-6, it urges the reader to submit to jurisdiction.
Heading 3: Major Ethical Theories Is My Code of Ethics
In developing the code of ethics, I was reliant on various major ethical theories. The ethical methods include deontology, natural law, religion, or divine command theory and virtue ethics. Deontology theory focuses on judging the Right and wrong of action based on a moral code. In deontology, the main focus is on the processes involved in achieving an effect. The process must be right. In the process of developing my ethics code, the focus was more on the moral means of behavior no matter the consequences. The theory helped me express my intentions and motives. Besides, the approach helped me express my dignity and intrinsic value. The religion or divine command theory states that if the status of an action is morally right is equivalent to whether God commands it. God must guide the morality of our efforts. God is the source of ethics or morality. The theory helped me in basing all my codes on biblical teaching about God. Virtue ethics theory emphasizes the moral character or virtues. Virtue ethics aims to explain what is right through definition and the problems related to these theories. My ethics were based on ethical attributes that are key to human staying and living together in peace, love, and harmony. It was vital to my process in developing codes of ethics because I had to make sure that all systems were based on virtues. The natural law defines the moral standards that govern the behaviors of humans. Objectively the law is derived from human nature and the nature of the world. Human nature is goods and is meant to make human life a positive life (Kagan, 2018).
Heading 4: Applying My Code of Ethics in Conflict and Negotiations
I envision myself using my code of ethics in conflict resolution strategies such as avoiding conflict, defeating, compromising, accommodating, and collaborating. I will employ the code of ethics in compromising with other people by taking the high road and letting go of something that will result in resolving a conflict. I will be loving meaning that I will be willing to accommodate others to resolve a dispute. I will use the same code of ethics to collaborate with others and develop an understanding as a way of addressing a conflict (Barry & Robinson, 2002). I will employ principles learned from the Bible to avoid conflicts. For example, I will employ personal honor to forgo something that may be causing a conflict between another person and me to resolve the situation. If I am working in a company, and we disagree with a college, one of the ways is to employ integrity and honor, which are elements of my code of ethics to resolve the situation.
In negotiations, I will employ my code of ethics to do the right thing. In the talks, I must be able to create trust and confidentiality (Young, 2008). The willingness to do engage in the right thing and to treat other people in the proper manner. An example of applying ethics in negotiations in the future might be in a business contract. IN the future, I am hopeful I will engage in business. It is one of the areas where it is easy to cheat or misguide others. However, in my negotiations, I will employ nonmaleficence, respect, justice, and honor to ensure that I treat business partners the right way. That way, I will disclose all the necessary information and be fair in negotiating a deal.
Heading 5: Evaluating My Code of Ethics
My code of ethics will be useful to me because it will act as my moral compass. I will use it to guide my actions and processes towards all creation. My code of ethics will be the source of my purpose in life and will guide me in achieving that purpose. With the right system of ethics, I will have the proper sense of direction.
My code of ethics is superior to other codes because different ethical theories guide it and that I referred to key biblical teachings. As demonstrated above, I employed various ethical theories to provide a deep insight into the foundation of my code of ethics. In additions, I reefed to the Bible as it is one of the books with key moral principles that guide human beings to live a good and happy life here on earth.
